Is the wait long to see a medical professional?
Our goal at SATS Urgent Care is to get patients in and treated within an hour. We understand that your time is valuable, so we offer services to enable you to minimize your wait time at our locations, including:

• Scheduling a visit online allows you to reserve a spot in line before you arrive at your local clinic.

When patients schedule a visit, we assess the urgency of their needs and the availability of appropriate staff. Therefore, patients may not be treated in order of arrival. Rest assured, our goal is to get you treated by a healthcare provider as quickly as possible, to address your specific needs.

How are you different from a hospital emergency room or family doctor's office?
SATS Urgent Care is distinguished by our team of dedicated medical professionals, whose driving goal is to provide cost-effective, personalized, walk-in urgent care directly in your neighborhood. We strive to decrease wait times and offer professional service in a clean and welcoming environment.

For non-life-threatening medical needs, SATS Urgent Care is a better option than the ER. Our average wait time is less than that of an ER, and the cost of urgent care is about 1/7 as much as an ER visit.

What are the qualifications of the SATS Urgent Care medical staff?
SATS Urgent Care providers are highly trained, licensed medical professionals. SATS Urgent Care is staffed by a healthcare team of medical doctors, physician assistants, and/or nurse practitioners who deliver high-quality, personal care to patients in need of treatment for non-life-threatening conditions.
When do I pay for treatment?
Payment is expected at the time of treatment, unless an alternative payment has been arranged prior to the visit. Patients will be asked for a valid photo ID and their insurance card(s) as proof of insurance upon check-in. This expedites checkout at the conclusion of the visit.

We accept most major credit cards, debit cards, checks, or cash, and have affordable self-pay options available.

Urgent Care Conditions We Treat

Illnesses and Injuries

It’s easy to understand why the body needs a pain response resulting from an injury, or potential injury. But, that doesn’t make it feel any better when it’s happening. Acute pain from an injury might take up to six months to go away completely. Typically, once the injury has healed satisfactorily, the acute pain will go away.

The following is a list of examples of acute pain (not comprehensive):

  • Broken bones: If any bone in the body breaks, this can cause pain — often intensely.
  • Muscle strains, pulls & tears: This is acute pain caused by damage to muscle tissue.
  • Cuts, scrapes, scratches, puncture wounds & burns: Damage to the skin tissue will cause acute pain.
  • Back pain: Acute back pain, particularly acute lower back pain, is a common complaint. It is caused by muscle spasms, strains, and tears.

Your local SATS Urgent Care is available 6 days a week to help you get well. You can reach us on holidays or weekends, even when most general practices are closed. In most cases, we can get you in and out faster than an emergency room and at a fraction of the cost. With online check-in, you will be diagnosed and back to being yourself as quickly as possible.

Lab Work

In addition to immediate care for non-critical injuries and illnesses, SATS Urgent Care provide onsite digital X-rays and lab services for one-stop convenience. In fact, our wide range of diagnostic services are available during all normal business hours.

A complete range of lab and X-ray services include:

  • Digital X-rays
  • Rapid flu, strep & mono tests
  • Confidential STD testing
  • Urinalysis
  • Pregnancy testing
  • Drug screens (urine & hair)

Whether you need blood work, a foot, lung, chest, or other digital X-ray, our quick diagnostic services ensure that you get the care you need, right when it’s needed — no appointment necessary. We’ll even forward your electronic medical records to a specialist or other provider with your express written permission and under strict privacy guidelines.

Wellness Exams

A wellness exam is an important step in your health care routine. It’s not just about preventing disease but being able to take proactive steps that could potentially save your life. When you go in for a wellness exam, the doctor will ask questions and perform tests so they can find out what’s going on with you, and if there are any signs or symptoms of illness. They might also recommend additional testing depending on their findings during the examination. You should always follow up with your doctor after receiving test results because it’s possible that more tests may be needed before treatment begins. The sooner you know what’s wrong, the better chance you have at getting well again! If your doctor wants you to do a specific test due to your family history, that is preventive care.

The wellness exam checkup will include:

  • A physical examination.
  • Checking your vitals.
  • Checking BMI.
  • Examination of personal and family medical histories.
  • Discussion of current lifestyle and health choices.
  • Complete blood profile.
  • Screenings.
  • Establishing a plan for your health.

It’s not just about being healthy; it’s about feeling great! If something doesn’t seem right or if there are any warning signs like unexplained weight loss, fatigue, fever, pain or swelling – don’t ignore them! Go see your doctor as soon as possible and get checked out by one of our doctors today! Don’t wait until it’s too late … because when it comes to taking care of yourself – early detection is everything!

Women's Health

Female lower abdominal pain is common, and the causes of this pain vary drastically. Abdominal pain, including lower abdominal pain, is often pain coming from organs within the abdominal cavity. These organs include the stomach, small intestine, colon, liver, gall bladder, spleen, and pancreas. In women, the lowest portion of the abdomen is the pelvis and in addition to the bladder includes the uterus, Fallopian tubes, and ovaries. It is often difficult to tell if the pain is actually abdominal pain or pelvic pain.

The most common reason for lower abdominal pain in females is menstruation or menstrual cramps. Other causes include gas, indigestion, hernia, kidney stones, fibroids, diverticulitis, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, pelvic inflammatory disease, pancreatitis, and appendicitis among others. Our skilled medical staff will evaluate your acute abdominal and/or pelvic pain to determine the best way to reach the appropriate diagnosis and recommendation for further care.

Our clinic offers fast and reliable care for a wide range of women’s health needs, including:

  • Abdominal complaints
  • Breast-related complaints
  • IV fluids for dehydration
  • Uterine fibroids
